Dr. Maha Sidhom is a board certified pediatric dentist dedicated to helping children develop healthy, confident smiles in a fun and supportive environment. She believes every child deserves compassionate dental care and works closely with families to create positive experiences that encourage lifelong oral health habits.

Originally born in Cairo, Egypt and raised in Nebraska, Dr. Maha later moved to Colorado to attend the University of Colorado Boulder, where she earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Integrative Physiology and Psychology. Before pursuing dentistry, she worked in research at Children’s Hospital Colorado and the University of Colorado School of Pharmacy, where her passion for pediatric healthcare and working with children continued to grow.

Dr. Maha earned her dental degree from the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health in 2015 before completing an additional 2 years of specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and remains committed to staying current with the latest advancements in children’s dental care.

At Golden Kids Dental & Orthodontics, Dr. Maha provides comprehensive pediatric dental care for infants, children, teens, and patients with special healthcare needs. Families throughout Lakewood, Arvada, Golden, Evergreen, Wheat Ridge, Morrison, and surrounding Colorado communities appreciate her gentle approach, patience, and commitment to helping children feel comfortable and confident during every visit.

Outside the office, Dr. Maha enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and puppy, exploring Colorado outdoors, hiking, baking desserts, and practicing yoga.

Dr. Karen Franz is a Colorado native and experienced orthodontist who is passionate about creating healthy, beautiful smiles that last a lifetime. She combines advanced orthodontic training with a personalized approach to care, helping patients of all ages feel comfortable and confident throughout their smile journey.

Originally from Fort Collins, Colorado, Dr. Franz graduated with honors from Colorado State University with a degree in Biochemistry before attending the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry. After earning her dental degree, she continued her advanced education at UCLA, completing a Master’s Degree in Oral Biology along with a rigorous 3 year residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.

Dr. Franz provides orthodontic treatment for children, teens, and adults, including braces, early orthodontic intervention, and comprehensive smile correction. Her advanced training allows her to carefully guide facial growth and dental development while creating functional, confident smiles for every patient.

In addition to her orthodontic expertise, Dr. Franz speaks Spanish, allowing her to better serve and communicate with many families throughout the community. Patients throughout Lakewood, Arvada, Golden, Evergreen, Wheat Ridge, Morrison, and West Pleasant View appreciate her thoughtful care, attention to detail, and commitment to making orthodontic treatment a positive experience.
